I've eebeen told it is Thursday... We h ave h ad two long days. Yesyterday as we were driving t o Albuquerque, we had a flat tire on the truck. The Professor did a great job showing off his skills, and providing man care for the family. We were back on the road in under an hour! The rest of the day was uneventful and beautiful. We had a beautiful sunset and enjoyed entering the city with lights all aglow. We hunkered down in the camper, actually collapsed with all of our clothes on. We drove 250 more miles thanwe originally planned. It seems as there will be a midsize storm coming thru our path if we stayed on our originaal plan, so we had to cancel our stay with very good friends. Driving a camper thru icy mountainous roads is very diffi, cult and we would rather nottry it. Unfortunately we have to have fewer driving days in order to avoud the storm. We will get the keys to our new home on Monday at 9 am and that time cannot be pushed back.
Tonight we arestaying ina nice hotel. With th temps getting down into t.hesingle digits tonigh we just cant stay in our hybrid camper. We froze our water hose last night and the Professor had to use my hair dryer to get the hose undione. Tomorrow we should feel somewarmer temperatures if allgoes well!
